The buzz: A New York loft inspired lounge/restaurant, hidden in the newly launched entertainment complex on 47 Yongfu Lu.
The look: Imagine a warehouse-style loft, comfortably furnished and complete with a rooftop terrace. Downstairs is divided into three areas - the main drinking area (where the bar is located), the glass-enclosed Dining Room and the more intimate lounge area. Expect a crowded house if you drop by on a Friday night, and it almost feels like crashing a home party where young guests are doing dirty dancing and older guests are sipping on champagne.
If you crave for some fresh air, head up to the rooftop terrace with a separate bar. Seats are aplenty, and you can take in the amazing city view with an icy martini in your hand.
The music: Feel-good cheesy hip hop and pop upon our visit, but we're expecting more diversity in the future.
The crowd: You can meet all kinds of people here, just like you would at a home party. There are guys in suits, pretty ladies, older gentlemen and young kids in sneakers.
The drinks: Signature cocktails like The Waldorf Astoria are 65rmb each. Simple mix drinks are 50rmb and beers start from 40rmb.
Why you'll be back: For the intimate yet lively atmosphere, plus the delicious cocktails and the terrace. - Stella Shu
