Thailand Creative and Design Center (TCDC)’s annual festival of creativity, Creativities Unfold, is set to return for the seventh year featuring workshops and seminars with top creative studios and agencies, such as Cudson Demak, Visionary, Wallpaper Magazine and Vogue Thailand, from Aug 1-Sep 9. But the main highlight, as in previous years, is the international symposium scheduled to take place at Scala Theatre on Sep 7-8. Back in 2011, it played host to Monocle founder Tyler Brule, while last year it was the turn of German industrial designer Dieter Rams. This year the main man is influential Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa, known for his watch designs for the Issey Miyake label and the wall-mounted CD player from Muji, among much more. Workshops are free with limited spaces while the two-day symposium is B700 (B600 for TCDC members).
